Car Insurance SEO writing - 5

I did some freelancing for a company called WebJuice, the Kayak.com of car insurance. My objectives were to stick to a topic, include all the top-rated SEO keywords on that topic and make it interesting.

Compare but Beware

It’s perfectly understandable that you’d prefer getting free car insurance quotes when looking for a provider. After all, insurance can be pricey enough on its own – why pay more just to go through the selection process? Almost every reputable company offers free auto insurance quotes in an effort to make things easier and cheaper for potential customers. Sounds like good business, right? It is, but not necessarily for you. Getting a free car insurance quote is great, but be wary of the free quotes offered by auto insurance companies.

The number one motive of a car insurance provider is to make you or keep you as a customer, right? So when one offers you that free auto insurance quote, it’s highly likely that any and all information that you’re given will be crafted to push you to picking that respective provider. The quotes they give you may very well be real, but they may leave out some that are cheaper than their own. They may leave out providers that will cater to your specific needs, while steering you to their own, which may offer more coverage than is necessary for you (thus costing you more).

When you get that free car insurance quote from an insurance provider, it will be no coincidence when the best price just happens to come from that particular company. If you meet with an agent or talk to one on the phone, be ready to be gently (or maybe not so gently) coerced into picking his/her company. And the numbers you’re shown will surely favor that decision. Prepare yourself to frequently hear how the provider that’s giving you the quotes really is the best option, how much money you’ll save with them and much they care about you and your individual needs.
Now, you don’t want to pay for car insurance quotes. In fact, it may not be wise to do so. But comparing prices and providers is something that you should always do before committing. You can find independent companies to give you free car insurance quotes online without consulting actual insurance providers. But if you do find yourself getting quotes from a car insurance company, just go into the process with a “ready to walk away” attitude. Always keep in mind that they’re trying to sell their product to you. Most importantly, go to several other companies to get free car insurance quotes, and compare the results to see if the numbers add up.
